The Community Service Council (CSC) at Bob Jones University will host its semi-annual Blood Connection Drive beginning Thursday, October 30, through Friday, October. 31, from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. each day. The Blood Connection buses will be located in front of Rodeheaver Auditorium.

The CSC’s mission is to organize service projects in the Greenville community and seeks to connect students and student organizations to service opportunities.

“The community service council is incredibly excited to bring a blood drive to Bob Jones University,” said Julie Winslow, CSC director. “Donating blood is one of the simplest ways to make a profound difference, and we encourage everyone who is able to participate. Join us in supporting this vital cause and helping those in need. Together, we can make a truly life-saving impact.”

Students, alumni and members of the public interested in donating blood are encouraged to eat iron-rich foods (i.e. meats, spinach, and broccoli), drink plenty of water, and eat a good meal the day they donate.

All donors will receive a $40 e-gift card. Donors are encouraged to sign up for an appointment using the code 3ABT.
