FMA during Bible Conference

You probably have heard about something called Bible Conference coming up February 12–15, though you still might not know what it’s fully about.

Bible Conference is a time set aside each February to focus on spiritual growth and refreshment. This year’s nine conference sessions feature six speakers from across the United States. The theme, “Let Us Pray,” will seek to refocus hearts on the importance of slowing down and taking time to pray, study and meditate on God’s Word.

Now that you know a little bit more about this year’s conference, there are some things you should know that are a part of Bible Conference. First, you won’t need to attend classes Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. This is to allow a more stress-free environment so you can focus on the conference.

Another large part of the conference is the offering. You’ve probably heard that this year’s offering will go toward constructing a student recreation space in The Den.

There are various ways you can be involved in fundraising for this offering, many of which involve food. Numerous university groups and societies will be raising money, so be on the lookout for how you can participate. You also have the option to give to a traditional offering during the services.

Bible Conference is sure to be a great break from classes and time for spiritual refreshment.
