Congratulations to graduates who received degrees during BJU’s 92nd commencement exercises May 3.

More than 590 graduates received associate, bachelor’s or master’s degrees. Three received earned doctoral degrees from BJU Seminary. One honorary degree was conferred.

BJU President Steve Pettit, citing Deuteronomy 28:2, challenged graduates to serve throughout their lives.

“The greatest way to be blessed is to bless. Success is rarely measured in what we achieve but by who we serve and who we seek to empower. So I say to the class of 2019, simple advice is not complicated. Invest your life in empowering other people, God’s way, through His word and do it all for the glory of God. That is the way to honor Him.”

Since its founding in 1927, BJU has conferred more than 51,400 degrees.
