Since August 2018, BJU science ambassador Dr. George Matzko has been touring the United States with his wife Darlene wowing young audiences with scientific magic. With the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, the Matzkos’ plans had to alter. Instead, they were invited to spend the summer at Answers in Genesis’ Creation Museum in Ohio.

When Matzko finishes his final presentation at the Creation Museum on July 18, he will have conducted three presentations — Invisible Properties of Air, The Mysterious Electron, and Water — The Miracle Chemical — 12 times each. Each session not only explores God’s miraculous design for creation but also introduces two historic Christian scientists.

“The audience is able to see the orderliness of the universe that reflects God’s design as they learn about many unique properties necessary for life on earth that we often take for granted,” said Matzko.

In addition to sharing their fascination with science, the Matzkos are enjoying connecting over the University. The couple loves “meeting so many people who have never heard of Bob Jones University and being able to introduce them to the excellent science, engineering and health science programs,” they said. “Also, having people come up after the programs and identifying themselves as BJU grads (is a treat).”

Matzko will be presenting at the Creation Museum twice a day at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. until July 18. For a daily schedule of programs, visit creationmuseum.org/daily-programs.
