Greenville, S.C. (September 30, 2013) –  Zeier Fleming, a freshman majoring in Business Administration at Bob Jones University, led the BJU Bruins golf team to its first tournament victory in school history at the Hiwassee College Invitational Golf Tournament in Knoxville, Tenn. Sept. 20.

Fleming, a resident of Boiling Springs, finished the round with a 74 – the second lowest score of an individual golfer on the day. Fleming’s score, combined with strong scores from the rest of the BJU team, resulted in the best single round the golf team put together this season.

This is the inaugural year for the BJU Bruins golf team. They compete in Division I of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).
