GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 28, 2016) – Will Hoffman, a resident of Bear, Delaware, was recently named to the Bob Jones University Bruins men’s soccer team roster for the fall of 2016.
Hoffman participated in the sports programs of Fairwinds Christian School and brings a wealth of experience and talent to the 2016 BJU Bruins soccer team. Over the past four years he helped the FCS soccer team compile a 46-3 conference record overall and win three Delaware Valley Christian Athletic Conference (DVCAC) championships. Hoffmann received an award for the most goals in the DVCAC three consecutive years; two of those seasons he also took the DVCAC medal for most assists. As team captain his junior and senior years, Hoffman averaged more than three goals a game.
“We are very excited to bring in a well-rounded group of players who have been very successful both on the field and in the classroom,” said BJU men’s soccer coach Jesse McCormick. “We look forward to challenging these young men to grow and excel during their time at BJU and we are excited about what they can bring to the team both on and off the field.”
Hoffman has maintained a 3.75 GPA and plans to major in pre-med at BJU this fall.
