Bob Jones University senior Tracy Nguyen, a business administration major from Greenville, completed an internship with JUMPSTART SC, a prison nonprofit based in Spartanburg.
During her time with the organization, Nguyen served in a graphic design and marketing role under the supervision of the marketing director. She developed Canva templates and contributed creative concepts for weekly social media content to support digital marketing efforts. Nguyen also helped refresh the organization’s visual identity by updating logo elements and compiling a formal brand guideline.
In addition, Nguyen designed promotional materials for new merchandise and created a donor event logo and supporting collateral in collaboration with the event team. Her responsibilities extended to event coverage, where she photographed weekly activities and assisted with video interviews by operating camera and audio equipment.
“Working for JUMPSTART SC gave me a deeper appreciation for the gifts God has given me to use for His glory,” said Nguyen. “I was able to apply both my technical and interpersonal skills while working with the team, and the experience strengthened my confidence to contribute meaningfully in a professional environment.”
Nguyen’s internship provided hands-on experience in branding, digital content development and event support while contributing to the mission of JUMPSTART SC.
