GREENVILLE, S.C. (November 15, 2022) – Shelby Sanders, a senior communication disorders major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with East North Street Academy in Greenville.
A resident of Allegany, New York, Sanders assists the school’s speech-language pathologist. They work with over 70 kids weekly. In addition to writing lesson plans and therapy sessions, she also performs oral mechanics exams and assessments.
“My students have made just as much of an impact on me as I hope I am making on them,” said Sanders. “I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to take the knowledge that I’ve obtained at Bob Jones University and implement it to change the lives around me.”
