GREENVILLE, S.C. (February 22, 2021) – Sarah Carpenter, a senior studio art major, serves as an intern for Hampton III Gallery located in Taylors, South Carolina.
Carpenter, a resident of Suwanee, assists the gallery with planning exhibitions, managing inventory and editing the website. The gallery features art ranging from the World War II era to modern pieces all created by artists who live in or are from South Carolina.
“Interning at Hampton III has been a valuable experience that has helped me learn a lot about how an art gallery is run,” said Carpenter. “I have gained many new skills that will be helpful in my future career as an art historian.”
