GREENVILLE, S.C. (December 7, 2018) – Rebekah Anderson, a senior journalism and mass communication major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern for Jeff Dezen Public Relations in Greenville, South Carolina.
Anderson, a resident of Grayson,Georgia, participates in a program which pairs interns with senior executives to provide them with practical experience and individual mentoring. Her daily responsibilities include writing blog posts, developing social media content, planning events, tracking media coverage and writing press releases for clients.
“I have absolutely loved my internship experience so far. JDPR is my first taste of public relations agency life, and I have already learned so much. I’m glad to be getting this hands-on experience before I even begin my career,” said Anderson. “I’m grateful to be in a program that focuses on mentorship and gives interns a front row seat into the day-to-day responsibilities that characterize a public relations agency.”
