GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 3, 2017) – Rachel Lundberg, a junior accounting major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern this semester for Mount Vernon Mills, Inc., a manufacturer of textile, chemical, and related products for the apparel, industrial, institutional, and commercial markets, based in Mauldin, South Carolina.
Lundberg, a resident of Williamsburg, Iowa, works in the tax department assisting with the year-end review of tax-deductible expenses.
“This internship has challenged my tunnel vision,” says Lundberg. “I’m not in school just to pass classes; I’m in school to learn skills that will help me for the rest of my life. If I want to be a teachable and productive employee, then that is the type of student I need to be right now.”
