GREENVILLE, S.C. (November 20, 2017) – Philip Brown, a senior graphic design major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern this semester with the Greenville Public Information & Events Office.
Brown, a resident of Sterling Heights, Michigan, is gaining hands-on experience working on the graphic design team of the Public Information Department. His responsibilities include designing event posters and brochures, creating plaques and markers for official city functions, and creating decoration plans for upcoming city events.
“I have really valued the ways this internship has stretched me as a designer,” says Brown. “Working with a variety of clients has forced me to continually think outside the box and learn to work with new and different design constraints and deadlines. I’m confident this internship experience will help me in my future career as a graphic designer.”
