Noelle Epling, a senior business administration major with a music minor from Perrysville, Indiana, spent the summer interning with Amazon in Beloit, Wisconsin, as a Receive Area Manager Intern.
In her role, Epling helped oversee daily operations in a fulfillment center by supporting team leadership, workflow efficiency and order processing. Working alongside an Area Manager, she analyzed performance data, identified process improvements, encouraged employee development and contributed to maintaining safe, productive operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
“Being an Area Manager Intern has helped me gain a deeper understanding not only of the operational side of a business but also of the importance of effectively leading and managing people,” said Epling. “Through this experience, I have developed valuable leadership, communication and problem-solving skills that will serve me well throughout my future business career and help me excel in the workplace.”
