GREENVILLE, S.C. (June 6, 2022) – Nathaniel Hendry, a senior double majoring in communication and ministry and leadership at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with MissionGO in Mokanji, Sierra Leone. MissionGO, an evangelical outreach ministry, provides a variety of services including well drilling, school administration, access to medical care and a weaving program.
A resident of Knoxville, Tennessee, Hendry will utilize his communication skills to write about the group’s work in the community, interview missionaries and nationals for profile pieces, photograph and document outreach efforts and facilities, assist in ministerial training and present devotionals. He will be serving with senior missionaries.
“I am so excited that God provided a way to fulfill my communication internship requirement in a ministry setting,” said Hendry. “I know God has called me to work in missions in some way, and I would love to work to raise awareness about the needs and how people can get involved.”
