GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 12, 2018) – Lauren Wilson, a senior English education major at Bob Jones University, serves as a student teacher for Hillcrest High School in Simpsonville, South Carolina.
Wilson, a resident of Fayetteville, North Carolina, has taken on the role of a full-time teacher by teaching classes and helping students with classwork.
“Student teaching is a unique opportunity to put into practice all I have learned in my college classes,” said Wilson. “Learning various classroom management techniques and how to approach various learners in the classroom has been a beneficial experience before teaching full-time post-graduation.”
