GREENVILLE, S.C. (February 26, 2020) – Lauren Mukenschnabl, a senior special education major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern at Mauldin Middle School in Simpsonville, South Carolina.
Mukenschnabl, a resident of Darien, Illinois, works with a self-contained special education class where she gives instruction in content areas, helps her students meet various goals and prepares them to succeed in high school.
“Without this student teaching experience, I know that I would not be prepared to go into my first year of teaching next fall,” said Mukenschnable. “I have learned so much from spending every day in the classroom.”
