GREENVILLE, S.C. (July 1, 2019) – Jessica Powell, a senior educational studies major at Bob Jones University, serves as a summer intern at Rosedale Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland.
Powell, a resident of Mishawaka, Indiana, is serving under the direction of Pastor Aaron Conley who leads the RKids children’s ministry.
“This internship is providing opportunities for me to apply my knowledge of education and child growth and development to church ministry. Children are always learning, and the classroom is not where learning ends,” said Powell. “Church can and should be one of the most important learning centers for children as they meet and begin to grow in Christ. Rosedale Baptist Church plays an integral role in this process, and I am excited to be a part of it.”
