Senior criminal justice major Jaan Jensen of New Freedom, Pennsylvania, completed an internship with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office in Harford County, Maryland.
During the internship, Jensen participated in ride-alongs, conducted visual and auditory observations, recorded data and interacted with government officials, employees and civilians. These experiences provided insight into the daily responsibilities and operations of law enforcement officers.
“This internship has given me a hands-on, firsthand experience of what police officers do,” Jensen said. “It has deepened my knowledge of the career I am pursuing and helped shape my future goals.”
