Grace Anderson, a senior Strategic Communication major from Goffstown, New Hampshire, completed a summer internship with Mass General Brigham in Boston, Massachusetts.
As a digital intern on the Digital Research Operations team, Anderson supported the relaunch of Mass General Brigham’s external and internal websites as part of a larger initiative to unify its hospitals under a single brand. Her responsibilities included reviewing and validating more than 500 webpages to ensure content, design, functionality, and user experience standards were met before launch. She also assisted with building webpages for the organization’s internal website.
“This internship has given me firsthand experience with the website development and launch process on a large-scale project,” said Anderson. “One of my biggest takeaways has been how much I have grown in my understanding of the many moving parts involved in creating a successful digital experience. I have learned more about the importance of collaboration, flexibility, and attention to detail, and this experience has reinforced my interest in pursuing a career in digital communication and technology in the future.”
