GREENVILLE, S.C. (September 11, 2021) – Flags at Bob Jones University will be lowered to half-staff in commemoration of the September 11th attacks for the entire day. By a joint resolution approved by the U.S. Congress in 2001, this date, September 11, has been designated as “Patriot Day” in honor of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. and United Airlines Flight 93 which crashed in suburban Pennsylvania. This year marks the 20th anniversary.
