GREENVILLE, S.C. (October 6, 2019) – In honor of the 38th National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service held Sunday, Oct. 6, flags will be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset. The service commemorates the lives of the 92 firefighters who died in the line of duty in 2018 and 27 firefighters who died in the line of duty in previous years.
