(April 12, 2019) Flags at Bob Jones University will be flown at half-staff from sunrise Monday, April 15, 2019, until sunset on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, in honor of Ernest F. “Fritz” Hollings and in recognition of his extraordinary legacy and distinguished service to the State of South Carolina and the United States of America as a member of the United States Senate, Governor of South Carolina, Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina, and a member and Speaker Pro Tempore of the South Carolina House of Representatives.
