GREENVILLE, S.C. (July 28, 2017) – Ethan Case, a sophomore accounting major at Bob Jones University, was chosen to participate this summer in Greenville Health System’s Medical Experience (MedEx) Academy located in Greenville.

The MedEx Academy is a one-of-a-kind program developed to create more interest among young people in pursuing careers in health care. Students accepted into the academy have the unique opportunity to explore health care through simulations, lectures, workshops, research and community service.

Case, a resident of Greenville, will be participating in self-awareness testing, shadowing health care providers and administrators, attending in-depth lectures by doctors and professors, and debating medical ethics and malpractice issues.

“MedEx is a great program for anyone interested in pursuing a career in healthcare,” says Case. “I am returning for tier II of MedEx Academy after completing tier I two summers ago and am thrilled to be a part of the MedEx team again.”
