GREENVILLE, S.C. (July 22, 2024) – Diana Tovmassian, a senior health sciences major at Bob Jones University, completed an internship with Sacramento Foot & Ankle Center (SFAAC) in Carmicheal, California.
A resident of Duncan, Tovmassian had varying responsibilities that included special projects such as nutrition patient education for diabetics and reorganizing the exam room layout throughout the clinic. She also had the opportunity to shadow doctors in the clinic as they cared for patients and performed minor procedures.
“This internship was incredibly valuable to me as I gained experience in the healthcare world,” said Tovmassian. “It helped me see the reality of working in a private practice, which I am interested in doing in the near future.”
