Madison Avery Joins Communication Faculty

GREENVILLE, S.C. (August 28, 2024) – Madison Avery joins the Bob Jones University faculty this fall as an instructor in the Division of Communication in the School of Fine Arts & Communication. 

She earned a BA in Communication and an MA in Communication Studies from BJU. She previously served at BJU as a Communication graduate assistant where she received the Excellence in Teaching Graduate Assistant Award (2021–2022). 

Avery has also earned a Global Seal of Biliteracy demonstrating functional fluency in Spanish. 

This academic year, she is teaching Com 101: Fundamentals of Speech and Com 410: Oral Communication for the Professions.

Being a part of the BJU faculty as a graduate assistant has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I love BJU and am excited and grateful for new opportunities as I transition into a full-time position,” said Avery. “My prayer is to help my students continue strengthening their communication skills and encourage them in their Christian lives.”
