GREENVILLE, S.C. (November 22, 2016) – Daniel Reed, a junior information technology major at Bob Jones University, served this summer as an intern for the BJU Information Technology department in Greenville, South Carolina.
Reed, a resident of Gallipolis, Ohio, served as the assistant technical specialist with the special projects team. He gained experience by handling a variety of special-use computers on campus. Reed prepared machines for use overseas, in AV applications, and frequent-travel scenarios and worked with projects such as power management, Windows 10 upgrade, and group policy review.
“Having experience with various areas of my field has prepared me to learn even more from classes as I tie the theory in with past experiences,” says Reed. “With the help of my internships, I am prepared to fully leverage my education and enter the workforce with increased confidence.”
