Cone Elected to Bob Jones University Board of Trustees

GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 22, 2016) – Ed Cone was recently elected as a member of the Board of Trustees of Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. The 25-member board is the governing board of the University.

“I am pleased to have a man of Ed’s caliber join the Board of Trustees,” said Larry Jackson, Board chairman. “Ed’s business acumen and love for Jesus Christ are an incredible asset to the Board.”

Cone, a resident of Morgantown, Pennsylvania, attended BJU and completed his BA in Accounting from the University of Miami.

Involved at an early age in the family business, Graco Children’s Products, Cone served in various capacities within the company and was named as chief executive officer in 1982. Following the sale of Graco in 1996, Cone founded CF Capital, a private equity firm specializing in helping Christian entrepreneurs with financial and leadership advice.

Cone is an active member of High Point Baptist Chapel in Geigertown, Pennsylvania.
