Bob Jones University junior Brady Price, a biblical studies major from Boiling Springs, South Carolina, completed a semester-long internship at View Church in Boiling Springs, South Carolina.
During the internship, Price served in the church’s youth ministry, assisting with the administration of weekly youth activities and helping plan larger events throughout the semester. He also taught a small group of eighth-grade boys, meeting with the same group regularly as part of the ministry’s discipleship efforts.
Price said the experience was valuable both practically and spiritually, particularly in shaping his perspective on ministry. He noted that the internship allowed him to serve students directly while developing a clearer understanding of ministry responsibilities and priorities.
“It is such a unique opportunity to pour out your heart for students, seeking to see them come to know and love our Savior more and more each day,” Price said. He added that he is grateful for the opportunity to serve and for the ways the Lord used the experience to work in his life.
Internships are a key component of experiential learning at Bob Jones University, allowing students to apply classroom instruction in real-world ministry and professional settings.
