GREENVILLE, S.C. (May 24, 2017) – Bradford Mays, a senior information technology major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern this summer at Lock Haven Hospital in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.
Mays, a resident of State College, Pennsylvania, will be primarily installing operating systems on new client laptops, notebooks and desktops. Mays will also perform basic hardware troubleshooting tasks, assist with new PC setups, create queries, assist with data center support by installing server and network related hardware, install and configure disk encryption on client devices and assist with data backups.
“My internship will allow me to expand my abilities far greater than what I could learn in the classroom alone,” says Mays. “By taking knowledge from the classroom as a foundation, I can begin building experience that will guide me into my future career.”
