GREENVILLE, S.C. (January 27, 2016) – Stewart “Blake” Counts, a senior sports management major at Bob Jones University, is serving as an intern for the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) in Greenville.

Counts, a resident of Lancaster, South Carolina, will serve this semester with NCCAA, specifically using his experience with golf.

“I’m excited to intern with the NCCAA because I know I will learn many things that will help me once I begin my career,” said Counts. “Being able to help with this year’s NCCAA Pro-Am golf tournament will give me valuable experience. I’m hoping to have a better idea of the direction I want to go in my career and that opportunities will arise from this internship.”

“The NCCAA has been blessed with outstanding interns over the years,” states Dan Wood, Executive Director. “We have a lot to offer interns of various majors. Our staff always enjoy the opportunity to teach these students and to watch them grow over the semester. Blake is already taking on important tasks and is proving himself to be a quick and eager learner,” added Wood.

The NCCAA is a Christian-based organization that functions uniquely as a national and international agency for the promotion of outreach and ministry, and for the maintenance, enhancement, and promotion of intercollegiate athletic competition with a Christian perspective.
