GREENVILLE, S.C. (May 5, 2016) – Nearly 700 students will receive degrees at the 89th annual commencement of Bob Jones University Friday, May 6. The two-hour program begins at 2 p.m. in the Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium.
In addition to the 546 students receiving bachelor’s degrees, 61 students will receive master’s degrees and 58 students will receive associate degrees.
Seven candidates will receive earned doctoral degrees. Two honorary Doctor of Divinity (DDiv) degrees will also be conferred.
In lieu of a commencement speaker, 34 students will give a brief (1-3 minute) testimony.
Since its founding in 1927, Bob Jones University has conferred over 49,000 degrees.
