GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 18, 2017) – Anthony Gillingham, a senior music education major at Bob Jones University, serves as a student teacher this semester at Eastside High School in Greenville.
Gillingham, a resident of Freeport, Illinois, teaches high school orchestra. His responsibilities include conducting the rehearsals and teaching techniques, posture, and musical elements. He teaches 90 students at Eastside High School in addition to teaching 70 students at Riverside High School.
“Student teaching is invaluable because it has given me a change to get my feet wet and learn valuable skills before going out on my own,” says Gillingham.
