Amaris John, a senior business administration major from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, completed a human resources internship with Chick-fil-A in Sunrise, Florida.
During her internship, John gained hands-on experience with key human resources responsibilities, including reviewing résumés, conducting interviews and assisting with the onboarding process for new employees. Through these activities, she developed a greater understanding of the role human resources professionals play in supporting employees and organizational success.
“The internship has been very valuable for me because it has shown me what human resources looks like in the workforce,” said John.
