GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 6, 2023) – Allee Johnson, a senior child development major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with Bright Start in Greenville, South Carolina.
A resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, Johnson shadows an early intervention specialist on home and daycare visits. Her responsibilities include learning early intervention strategies, formulating new plans and implementing these strategies during sessions with children to help them reach their milestones.
“This internship is valuable to me because I am seeing early intervention at work first-hand and learning new strategies to help children with special needs and developmental delays,” said Johnson. “I am passionate about helping babies and toddlers get set up to have the best possible outcome for life.”
