Upon retiring after five decades of caring for children on the BJU campus, Aline Pennington looked back on her life, thankful for how God led her.

“I came to BJU not knowing what I would do, not knowing there was a nursery,” she said. “The Lord’s been very, very good. I’ve loved it.”

Pennington, who came to BJU as a student in 1960 and was director of the Child Development Center for 43 years, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 6.
