GREENVILLE, S.C. (February 2, 2016) – Julie Russell, a junior accounting major at Bob Jones University, is serving as an intern for Martin Smith in Greenville.
Russell, a resident of Duncan, South Carolina, is interning for Martin Smith’s tax department by assisting with employee and individual tax returns.
Martin, Smith & Company CPAs is a local Greenville, South Carolina-based firm with audit and corporate tax clients in five Southeastern states. The firm also provides audit and tax services to several foreign-owned companies with facilities in South Carolina.
“To me an internship is beneficial because I am not only accumulating invaluable skills, I’m also gaining a real world glimpse into my profession,” says Russell. “Along with practical experience, I’m acquiring a self-confidence that just cannot be taught in the classroom alone.”
