GREENVILLE, S.C. (January 29, 2020) – Carlie Mitchell, a junior accounting major at Bob Jones University, serves as an audit and assurance intern at Deloitte in McLean, Virginia.
Mitchell, a resident of Lorton, Virginia, is a member of a team of 10 employees and primarily updates client’s financial statements.
“This internship has been valuable to me academically as well as for my future career,” says Mitchell. “It’s given me an overall understanding of the auditing process from start to finish and helped me acclimate to long busy-season hours. I’ve already learned so much, and I can’t wait to implement all I’ve learned in my classes.”
