Gabriel Smith, a senior Cybersecurity major from Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, is spending the summer interning with ACTC in Anderson, South Carolina.
During his internship, Smith researches firewall policies, evaluates solutions to address current firewall challenges and vulnerabilities, provides technical support for network infrastructure, and assists with IT support needs across the organization.
The hands-on experience is helping him build skills directly related to his career goal of becoming a penetration tester.
“God has given me the opportunity to work at ACTC this summer, and I can’t be more thankful,” Smith said. “This internship has provided me with extensive real-world experience as I work toward my career goal of becoming a Penetration Tester, and I can’t wait to see what doors He will open for me in the future.”
