Timothy Speaks, a senior Biblical Studies major from Santee, California, is completing a pastoral internship at Barabbas Road Church in San Diego, California. His responsibilities include preaching, administrative work, outreach ministry, and personal study as he fulfills the requirements of his pastoral training.
“This internship has shown me weaknesses in my own pursuit of the pastorate and challenged me to step outside my comfort zone again and again,” said Speaks. “It has been a necessary and valuable part of my education.”
Through this experience, Speaks is gaining practical ministry training while preparing for future service in pastoral leadership.
