Zackery Carter Joins Communication Faculty

GREENVILLE, S.C. (September 21, 2022) – Zackery Carter joined the Bob Jones University faculty this fall as an associate professor in the Division of Communication in the School of Fine Arts & Communication. 

He earned a BA in Professional Writing and an MA in Rhetoric & Composition from Purdue University. He went on to complete a PhD in Communication from Regent University. 

He previously served as assistant professor of strategic communication at Taylor University and adjunct professor of undergraduate communication studies at Regent University. Carter has held online adjunct positions at Regent, Southern New Hampshire University and Mid-American Christian University. He has published numerous articles in both academic and popular publications.

“We’re excited to have Dr. Carter serving in both our undergrad and graduate programs,” said Dr. Jeff Miller, Division of Communication department head. “He brings a wealth of teaching experience and an impressive resume of writing and publishing projects, particularly in the areas of relational and interpersonal communication.” 

Carter and his wife, Stacey, have one daughter.
