BJU President Steve Pettit welcomed students to the first chapel and first day of classes for the 2022 spring semester.

“I hope you are excited about the opportunity to learn in your classes,” he said.

Next week, President Pettit will begin exploring the spring semester chapel theme “Encountering God: A Study in Psalms.”

Join President Pettit via webcast as he encourages believers to come nearer to God as they encounter Him throughout Psalms. Past chapel messages are available on demand via video and audio

Each semester, a discipleship theme and a doctrinal theme are presented. The discipleship theme, presented by President Pettit, corresponds to the studies of discipleship groups. The doctrinal theme is presented by School of Religion and BJU Seminary faculty.

Second semester University schedule:
Jan. 12 — Residence classes begin
Feb. 15–18 — Bible Conference
March 21–25 — Spring break
