I have the privilege of serving as director of pastoral care at the UPMC Western Maryland hospital in Cumberland, MD. We have seen God do amazing things as my ministry has changed from patients to nurses and staff.

Daily, I have prayer with nurse teams on each floor. Daily, I’m counseling employees who are stressed and anxious. Recently, the hospital gave us the privilege to do an Easter video in place of our normal Easter service in our hospital chapel. They posted it on the employee portal for people who work here, which is about 2,200 employees and staff.

The opportunity to share the Gospel has been amazing. Many are open to hearing the message of salvation. What a privilege to lead many to Christ during this crisis in our country. I am blessed to be on the front lines at a great hospital with amazing people. Jesus is doing His work, and I step back and notice the fingerprints of God through His Word redeeming souls daily.
