GREENVILLE, S.C. (August 17, 2020) – Sarah Rumpf, a senior communication major at Bob Jones University, served as an intern with the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. this summer.

Rumpf, a resident of Billerica, Massachusetts, worked as an event intern and performed research for the worldview and policy departments. She helped reimagine the Values Voter Summit, the largest annual gathering of social conservatives in the nation, as a remote virtual experience. The project included event planning and fundraising promotion. Rumpf also authored blogs featured on the organization’s website.

“Interning with the Family Research Council helped me integrate classroom learning into an organizational setting,”  says Rumpf. “I am walking away from a wonderful opportunity with FRC with a value of BJU’s excellent well-rounded education and a renewed appreciation of BJU professors and faculty.”
