Rebekah Rulapaugh recently joined the faculty of Bob Jones University as an assistant professor in the Division of Teacher Education within the School of Education and Human Services.

A veteran elementary educator, Rulapaugh brings 21 years of teaching experience across first, second, and third grades at three Christian schools in North Carolina. Most recently, she taught kindergarten at Bob Jones Academy. Beyond the classroom, she served as a digital education teacher for BJU Press, creating video-based lessons for distance learning courses.
This academic year, Rulapaugh will teach Teaching Mathematics, Child Health, Safety, & Nutrition, and Teachers for Tomorrow, as well as supervise student teachers.
“I’m so excited to share my love of teaching BJU’s future teachers,” says Rulapaugh. “There’s no greater privilege as a Christian educator than to point students to Christ while challenging them academically and developing the gifts God has given them. I want my future teachers to know that I am here to be their #1 cheerleader as they head into the best profession there is!”
She and her husband, Jim, have three sons.
