GREENVILLE, S.C. (December 15, 2017) – Julia Young, a senior early childhood education major at Bob Jones University, serves this semester as a student teacher in the Greenville County School System in Greenville, South Carolina.
Young, a resident of Berne, Indiana, teaches kindergarten classes. Young worked with the students in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math.
“I have learned a lot from this experience,” says Young. “One of the biggest lessons I have learned is to be teachable, inspiring, grateful, and, above all, to be kind, because students learn more from what you do than what you say.”
