Nathan Fithian Interns at the Greer Police Department

Nathan Fithian, a senior Criminal Justice major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with the Greer Police Department in Greer, SC.

A resident of GreerSCFithian shadows police officers in daily routines and completes ride-alongs to gain firsthand experience in law enforcement operations.

“Through this internship, I have learned how my major in Criminal Justice has prepared me well for my upcoming career in law enforcement,” said Fithian. “Completing my internship with the Greer Police Department has developed me both mentally and physically for the future.”

During his internship, Fithian has had the opportunity to observe and assist officers in a variety of real-world situations. These experiences have allowed him to apply classroom knowledge to practical scenarios, deepening his understanding of the responsibilities and challenges faced by law enforcement professionals.

BJU’s Criminal Justice program equips students with a comprehensive understanding of the United States criminal justice system, criminal behavior, and ethical decision-making in the field of law enforcement.
