GREENVILLE, S.C. (June 25, 2024) – Matthew Holmes, a senior multimedia journalism major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship at WSPA-TV in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
A resident of Taylors, Holmes works with the creative services/marketing department at WSPA to film and edit videos for advertising, programming and digital distribution. Additionally, he is able to observe the marketing department’s editorial decisions.
“As an intern at WSPA, I’ve been able to experience what life is like for professionals in the broadcasting and media production industries,” said Holmes. “As someone who hopes to work in both fields once I graduate college, this internship has given me valuable insight into achieving my career goals while establishing strong, supportive relationships with my co-workers.”
