Jon Crocker, executive director of GFA Missions, will preach at Bob Jones University’s spring semester opening services. Services will be held Jan. 13-14, 2026, at 7 p.m. in Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium.

After graduating from BJU, Jon (’01) and his wife, Andrea (’04), served as missionaries in Mexico City, Mexico, for 10 years. In May 2022, he became executive director of GFA Missions based in Greenville.

Jon and Andrea are wholeheartedly dedicated to supporting missionaries across the globe and inspiring believers to embrace the call of the Great Commission. Their burden is reflected in GFA’s vision statement: “to see a fresh awakening of well-equipped gospel witnesses, being sent out from a strong base of conservative local churches and reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ in every nation of the world.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Jon Crocker to open our spring semester,” said BJU President Bruce McAllister. “His heart for missions will challenge and encourage our students as they pursue a higher calling.”

Both services will be webcast live here.
