Gabe Hutton, a senior business administration major from Midland, Michigan, is currently completing an internship with Genesis Marketing in Greenville, South Carolina.
In his role, Hutton is gaining hands‑on experience in sales functions that support the company’s outreach in the Texas general market. His responsibilities include calling accounts, presenting various product offerings, scheduling meetings and organizing presentations designed to help close key deals.
Hutton shared that the internship has already proven valuable. “This internship has value to me through the experience it will give me. The practical application of using Salesforce, MarketTime, and other various programs while engaging in salesmanship is something I highly value.”
Through his work at Genesis Marketing, Hutton is strengthening his professional communication skills and gaining practical exposure to industry tools and processes commonly used in sales and account management.
