“In the past forums, we’ve explored the past and present roles of evangelicals in the political process,” said Dr. Gary Weier, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at BJU. “Informed by the results of Tuesday’s elections, this upcoming forum will give an interesting look at the role of evangelicals in the public square moving forward.”

Panelists include Mrs. Linda Abrams, Associate Professor of Political Science at BJU; Mr. Chad Connelly, Faith Engagement Director for the Republican National Committee; Dr. Theon Hill, Assistant Professor of Communication at Wheaton College; Dr. Brenda Schoolfield, Professor of History at BJU; and Dr. David Woodard, Thurmond Professor of Political Science at Clemson University.

During the forum, panelists will receive questions from the audience.

The 90-minute forum begins at 7 p.m. in Stratton Hall on the BJU campus. Pre-registration through Eventbrite is needed for admission to the free event. Free parking is available in the parking garage behind Rodeheaver Auditorium and on campus streets.
